THE STARFISH PROJECT
Being the change we want to see in the world.
There's a lot of talk about building a better world, this is our way to actually do it, together.

You may know the story of the child tossing stranded starfish back into the ocean, one at a time — making a difference, even if just for one
The Starfish Project is a Whysmen community initiative to rally around one man with a powerful dream to uplift his community. We're starting small with Starifik. Helping one man do one good thing in a world full of need. It's tangible. It's trackable. And it connects us — each of us — through meaningful action.

THE STARIFIK STORY
Hello, I am Anthem Republiq, and I with a team of ten youth-creatives and social visionaries have a plan to create the STARIFIK Community Center in Nairobi, Kenya for youth aspiring to a better life.
STARIFIK is a team of young men and women (the stars) whose dream is to create a galaxy of dreams, resilience, support, and most importantly opportunity for the youth in our challenged, underserved and under-resourced community. We are a dedicated group of young people who grew up in the Mathare slums (population over 500,000), the place we call home.

Our team is being championed and assisted by the members of the Whysmen Virtual Pub, and The Center for Purposeful Leadership, who are helping us manifest our Center.
The STARIFIK Community Center will be a gathering place that steers youth away from the destructive influences of indignity, hopelessness, and crime that permeate our environment. It is intended to be a hub for learning, creativity, employment development, skill training, and mental health support.
